CORVALLIS, Ore. – No. 1-ranked Oregon Tech softball pitcher Sarah Abramson and OIT baseball player Dalton Daily have been recognized as the Cascade Collegiate Conference WVT Laboratory Softball Pitcher and Baseball Player of the Week for their performances during this past weekend.
 
Abramson, a senior pitcher from Milwaukie, Ore., led the Owls to a 4-0 weekend, picking up two shutout wins in the circle. She only allowed three hits in 11 innings with 16 strikeouts without conceding a single run.
 
Daily, a senior infielder from Bishop, Calif., had a monster weekend to help the Hustlin' Owls go 4-0 over NCAA Division II opponent Saint Martin's University. He hit .647 (11 for 17) with four doubles, two home runs, and 10 RBIs. Daily finished the week with a slugging percentage of 1.235 and helped turn three double plays defensively.
