PORTLAND, OR – The No.1 Oregon Tech Lady Owls (17-3, 6-0) earned their eighth consecutive doubleheader sweep over Warner-Pacific (1-11, 0-6) on Saturday. OIT had another fantastic weekend in the circle and finished the series without allowing a single run to the Knights.
Game Three:

In the opening game of a Saturday doubleheader against the Knights, OIT continued to deal in the circle and at the plate.
The Lady Owls totaled six runs on ten hits to fly past the Lady Knights.
Tech picked up where they left off yesterday, drawing first blood in the top of the first.
Mckenna Armantrout singled to rightfield, which plated Kaila Mick to get the Lady Owls on the board.
After Tech went quiet in the second, they got back on the board in the third when Armantrout earned her second RBI single of the day, and Maggie Buckholz followed her up with an RBI double.
Leading 3-0, the Lady Owls plated a run in the fourth and two in the seventh, ultimately earning a 6-0 victory.
While the offense was clicking, Sarah Abramson was dealing in the circle once again.
The senior picked up her 10th victory of the season in a complete-game shutout of the Knights.
Abramson allowed only one hit all afternoon while striking out 11 batters.
Foster was charged with the loss for the Knights. She threw three innings, allowing four runs on seven hits.
Tech was led at the plate by Armantrout, who went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Tech showed no signs of slowing down in game two, scoring three or more runs in the second, fifth, and sixth frames.
Although it was an all-around great team performance by the Lady Owls, Mckenzie Staub had a standout game.
The sophomore threw six scoreless frames, allowing no runs on just two hits.
Not only was Staub delivering in the circle, but she also led Tech at the plate.
Staub went 3-for-3 with an RBI and scored three times to help herself earn her eighth victory of the season.
Maggie Buckholz also swung the bat well, as she went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
Carlson was charged with the loss, allowing six earned runs in six innings of pitching.
The victory for OIT marks their 17th in a row and improves their record in CCC play to 6-0.
The Lady Owls will return to play next weekend when they travel to Helena for a four-game series against the Fighting Saints of Carroll (1-11, 0-5).
