Abramson Wins 2nd-Straight NAIA Pitcher of the Week Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the second-consecutive week, Oregon Tech's
Sarah Abramson has been named NAIA Softball National Pitcher of the Week, announced by the NAIA sports information staff.
The senior, from Milwaukie, Ore., becomes the second Lady Owl to earn multiple National Player of the Week honors, as Tara Moates earned weekly honors three times during her four-year career.
Abramson was 3-0 in five starts last week - including a victory over No. 8-ranked Southern Oregon. She followed with a 7-inning perfect game on Friday's opener vs. Corban and a 7-inning no-hitter in Game 3 of the series - becoming the first NAIA pitcher to toss back-to-back no-hitters since 2019. She currently leads the Cascade Conference and ranks No. 2 nationally with 18 wins on the season.
OIT returns to action on Saturday, beginning a 4-game weekend series at British Columbia.
