OLYMPIA, WASH. — The Oregon Tech Hustlin' Owls (10-5, 7-0) led from the opening whistle and cruised to the 100-point mark in a 102-77 victory over The Evergreen State College (1-10, 1-6). The win for Tech improved their record in conference play to 7-0, their best since the 2010-11 season.

With the opportunity to get a sweep and remain perfect in CCC play, Tech wasted no time on Sunday evening.

In the first half, Tech would also waste no time in jumping out to an early lead.

The Hustlin' Owls shot 57% through the first 20 minutes to cruise to a 46-32 lead. A key to grabbing the early lead was outrebounding the Geoducks 22-14 while using a solid performance from Keegan Shivers, who had 14 first-half points.

After an impressive first half, Tech didn't slow down, scoring 56 second-half points while getting their entire bench into the game.

Kaison Faust led the way with 15 points down the final stretch of 20 minutes, with a plethora of his points coming from cleaning up the boards.

With seven minutes remaining in the contents, all power shut off within the EGSC Recreation Center, which gave Tech a breather before they soared to the 100-point mark.

The Hustlin' Owls would cruise to a 102-77 victory, highlighted by a 50-27 advantage on the glass.

Tech finished with just four players in double figures:

Kaison Faust: 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting with six rebounds

Keegan Shivers: 15 points on 6-of-17 shooting with 11 rebounds (double-double)

Harrison Steiger: 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting

Joey Potts: 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting with five rebounds

Scotty Burge also contributed well for Tech, scoring eight points while picking up six assists and four rebounds

Evergreen State was led by Mikey Hernandez, who scored a game-high 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting.

Tech returns home this weekend as they host Lewis-Clark State (12-2, 5-1) on Friday at 7:30 p.m., then Walla Walla (2-11, 1-5) on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Friday will be the annual "Pink-Out" game with the first 1,000 fans receiving a limited edition t-shirt.
