KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.— Oregon Tech Athletics along with title sponsor Lithia Motors & Klamath Falls Toyota will host its Annual Golf Challenge on Sunday, September 12th at the Running Y Ranch & Resort. 
 
All proceeds from this event go to supporting the outstanding student-athletes at Oregon Tech. This past year was a banner for the Oregon Tech Athletes as they were named the All-Sports Champion as well as the President's Cup award winner. "What an unbelievable accomplishment for our department.  First, we were the All-Sports Champion which means our department had the best overall winning percentage during competition within the Cascade Conference AND now, to win the President's Cup speaks to the caliber of student-athlete that is here at Oregon Tech," said athletic director John Van Dyke.
 
The format for the tournament is a 4-person scramble with numerous opportunities to win great prizes through on the course competitions as well as a bucket raffle.  The cost per individual is $150, with foursomes set for $600. Each golfer will receive an Oregon Tech hat, Pro V-1 golf balls, entry into the raffle, and a ticket for dinner.
 
The tournament will also feature a hole-in-one contest for a new car from Lithia Motors. Sign-in and warm-up begin at 9:00 am followed by a shotgun start at 10:00 am. There will be a dinner afterward where prize winners will be announced and you'll have a chance to hear from Oregon Tech Director of Athletics, John Van Dyke about the incredible accomplishments of Oregon Tech athletes.
