Tech’s Mark French Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech cross country standout and four-time All-American
Mark French joined 11 athletes chosen to the CoSIDA NAIA Cross County Academic All-District 4 team, announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
"Mark has worked very hard to represent Oregon Tech with class and quality," said head coach
Jack Kegg. "He is a great example of what I want the program to exhibit. Outstanding athletics, character, and academics. This honor is well deserved."
French carried a 3.84 GPA his senior year, and was honored for his work in the classroom and on the track. Those on the team maintained at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and were a starter or key contributor to their squad – selected from District 4, encompassing the Cascade, California Pacific, Golden State Athletic and Sooner Athletic Conferences.
French will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team
Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-August.
