KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oregon Tech moved up 15 positions to the No. 2 spot with 392 total points in the postseason-season edition of the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced today. 
 
The top three teams in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 hail from the Cascade Collegiate Conference: No. 1 and back-to-back champion Southern Oregon, runner-up Oregon Tech and at No. 3 College of Idaho. Rounding out the top five was Ottawa (Kan.) and Olivet Nazarene.
 
Southern Oregon started and finished the year ranked No. 1 while Oregon Tech started the year un-ranked in the receiving votes category, finishing at No. 17 in the regular season final poll.
 
From the CCC, College of Idaho started the year at No. 17 and ended the regular season at No.15. Corban University started the season at No. 23 but fell out of the final poll to end the season; they moved back up to the receiving votes category in the postseason poll.
