Game Three: Oregon Tech 5 Eastern Oregon 0

In the final match that counts towards CCC play, Abramson continued her strong display this weekend with a 2-hit shutout of the Mountaineers.

With the conference tournament upcoming, it was essential that the Owls pitching staff used this series as a tune up for a potential deep postseason run.

In game three, Tech used balanced scoring to control the contest.

Kaila Mick had an RBI single in the first, then Kennedy Jantzi hit a solo HR in the 2nd inning, her CCC leading 14th of the season.

Leading 2-0 in the 3rd, Mick went yard to extend the Owls' lead to 3-0.

After Abramson shutdown the Mountaineers in the 4th, the Owls tacked onto its lead in the bottom half. With RBI singles from Armantrout and Nunes, that put Tech up 5-0, a result that would hold the rest of the game.

There was nothing going in the 5th through 7th inning, as the Hustlin' Owls cruised to victory.

A key to the Mounties stopping the damage being done by Tech was bringing Amanda Smith back into the game who threw a gem for them yesterday.

Smith and Abramson went toe-to-toe in the final few frames as the score remained 5-0 and went final.

Abramson threw 7 innings in the win, allowing only 2 hits while walking 3 and striking out 8.

Tech was led at the plate by Jantzi, Mick, and Armantrout who all had 2 hits apiece.

Between games, Oregon Tech honored four seniors, Baylee Wyscaver (19-20), #25 Mackenzie Driscoll, #7 Logan Nunes, and #11 Olivia Lethlean

Game Four: Oregon Tech 9 Eastern Oregon 1 (5)

In-game 4, Tech exploded in the 4th and 5th inning to pick up the run-rule victory.

McKenzie Staub threw yet another gem as she improved her record to 19-3 on the season.

Staub threw 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while only walking 1 and striking out 3.

It was a tight affair headed into the bottom of the 4th, with Tech only ahead 2-0.

The Lady Owls quickly opened the game up, however, scoring 3 runs in the 4th and 4 runs in the 5th.

The onslaught was highlighted by a plethora of RBI singles and capped off by senior Logan Nunes' walk-off 2-run HR. Nunes also added three outstanding defensive plays.

Tech was led at the plate by Armantrout, Mick, Nunes, and Jantzi who racked up 2 hits each in the win.
