RESULTS 
ASHLAND, Ore. – Oregon Tech's Hunter Drops (Pictured) won the pole vault and the javelin on day two of the Cascade Conference Multi-Championships as he finished in second place in the Decathlon earning All-CCC honors to lead the Owls Friday at Southern Oregon University.
 
Drops won the pole vault with a leap of 4.80m and won the javelin with a throw of 70.93m, that throw now leads the NAIA 
 
Drops score total of 6438 put him just 58 points back of the winner TJ Davis of Eastern Oregon University.
 
Tech's Thomas Dodgen who entered the day in third place finished the day in 9^th place as he had a no height in the pole vault but finished second in javelin with a throw of 51.80m.
 
In the heptathlon, both Tech freshman showed some good things. Amy Odell was 11^th, her highlights included a 5^th place in the Javelin (32.42m) and a 6^th in the 800 (2:31.80) while fellow freshman Aarika Brooks won the javelin (40.5M) and finished 14^th overall, her throw hits an NAIA "A" mark.
