 Ashland, Ore. — The Oregon Tech track team had a busy Saturday at the Southern Oregon University Invite #3. Tech's Hunter Drops improved his NAIA standing as he won the pole vault, Ally Odell won the women's high jump, and Mariano Segura (pictured) won both the triple jump and the javelin for the Owls.
 
Assistant coach Laura Schwartz commented on the Owls' day, "Our teams' hard work has started to pay off on the track and field as we continue to have breakthrough performances and national qualifying marks!"
 
Highlights

• Hunter Drops "A" qualifier in pole vault 4.80m (15-9) 
• Mariano Segura won both the triple jump and the javelin 
• Ally Odell won the high jump 
• Gifty Nkansah was 2^nd in the 200M (26.46) / Lily Lavine got 3^rd in 26.67 
• Angel Valdez got 3^rd in the men's 200M at 22.37 
• Thomas Dodgen was 3^rd in men's 110M hurdles
