Two Oregon Tech Owls Named CCC Runners of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Two Oregon Tech athletes have been recognized as the Cascade Conference Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Runners of the Week for their performances during the period of March 1-7. Tech's Faith Widman and Mark French were named CCC XC Runners of the Week.
 
No. 12-ranked Oregon Tech's Faith Widman was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, her third time winning the award this year.
 
No. 20-ranked Oregon Tech's Mark French was named the Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season.
 
French, a senior from Tualatin, Ore., took first out of 15 runners in the 8K against Corban University. He crossed the finish line in 26 minutes, six seconds.
