KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- Oregon Tech (6-10) dropped a pair of games to The Master's University (12-8) Friday, 6-5 in game one, and 3-1 in game two at Kiger Stadium.

Game one: The Master's 6 Oregon Tech 5
After jumping out to a 5-1 lead in the third, Tech was held hitless over the final 5-innings by Mustang pitcher Ben Johnson as TMU outscored OIT 5-0 to earn the 6-5 win.
Tech's Alex Malcom had all five RBI with a 3-run double in the first and 2-run double in the third.
Solo homers by Roy Verdejo, and Will Bats for the Mustangs in the 4
th and 5
th innings cut Tech's lead to 5-3.
A walk, a sacrifice bunt, a ground out, and a wild pitch produced another run for The Master's without a hit, as they cut Tech's lead 5-4 in the 6
th. They repeated the same feat in the 7
th to tie the game at 5-5, this time taking advantage of a hit batter, a sacrifice bunt and an error to generate the game tying run.
Two singles and a walk loaded the bases in the top of the 9
th, with the eventual game winning run being sent home on another walk.
Tech's
Josh Davis picked up the loss to fall to 0-1 on the year.
Johnson was fantastic for The Master's as he didn't allow a hit and struck out 7 Owls over 5-innings of relief picking up the win to improve to 1-1 on the year.
Game two: The Master's 3 Oregon Tech 1 7-innings.
Tech took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1
st, on 3-hits including a Malcom RBI single, his 6
th RBI of the day.
Tech starting pitcher Brandon Talonen was strong through the first 4-innings allowing only 1-hit, but would eventually be tagged with the loss.
The Master's scored one-run in the 5
th taking advantage of a walk, a hit batter and a double to tie the game at 1-1.
The Mustangs scored two-runs in the 6
th and held on for the 3-1 win.
For the game OIT out-hit TMU 5-4 with
Jesse Dunham leading the way with two hits.
The two teams will wrap the series with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 11:00 am.
