KEIZER, Ore.— Six runs in the first two frames helped propel Oregon Tech (14-17, 9-7 CCC) to a 12-6 victory in the series finale against Corban University (9-19, 8-8 CCC) on Saturday as the two squads split the day-two doubleheader at Volcanoes Stadium.
"We played better in game 1 than the stats show, but we certainly didn't clutch up in big moments. We responded immediately in game 2, by setting the tone on the mound and getting the big hit early. I like the competitiveness of our AB's throughout the game 2. It was good to end on a game where we played well on both sides of the ball," said head coach
Jacob Garsez.
