Two Oregon Tech Owls Named CCC Players of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Two Oregon Tech athletes have been recognized as the Cascade Conference Embrace Health-Santiam Hospital Players of the Week for their performances during the period of Feb. 22-28, 2021. Tech's Jacob Miller was named Pitcher of the Week for baseball. McKenna Armantrout was named Softball Player of the Week.

McKenna Armantrout

Armantrout, a five-foot-seven junior catcher from Klamath Falls, Ore., had a career weekend. She hit .750, going 12-for-16 with 10 RBIs and scored eight runs. She currently ranks in the top-25 in all of the NAIA in nine offensive categories.

Jacob Miller 
 
Miller, a six-foot-two junior pitcher from Albany, Ore., picked up the win as he shutdown No. 24-ranked LC State in the Owls' 4-1 victory over the Warriors. He gave up just one hit over six innings, throwing three strikeouts in the upset win.
