EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon Tech women's cross country team finished (1, 2, 3, 6, and 9) to win the Lane Community College Invite Friday afternoon. The Owls were led by Faith Widman, who won the event, with Tech's Delani Dietrich just behind to finish in second with Hannah Mason 3rd.

"The women put together a great race! This was the most engaged they have been all year on a wet slow course," said head coach Jack Kegg. He added, "McKenzie Morgan had an especially strong race for the Owls. Mackenzie Peterson ran a life time best coming off of an injury."

The Owls had 22 points to win the event with Lane CC finishing in second with 44 points followed by Bushnell in third with 58 points.

Tech's McKenzie Morgan was 6th, Kela Leamy 9th, Mia Smith 17th, and Jade Hopkins 22nd.
