Hustlin’ Owls Blank Evergreen, Advance to Conference Semifinals

Springfield, Ore. — The #19 ranked and two-seeded Oregon Tech Men's Soccer team (16-1-1) grabbed two goals in the span of a minute to defeat 7 seeded Evergreen State College (6-9-2) on Tuesday afternoon. The 2-0 victory for Tech advances them into the conference semifinals where they will face three- seeded Southern Oregon at 4:00 p.m.
"Great start to the game and we did a good job of controlling play," said head coach
Casey Tate. "We need to recover and be ready to go again."

The Hustlin' Owls established the tempo from the opening whistle. They committed numbers forward from the first kick, and their hard work paid off in the 33rd minute.

Tech displayed resolute defensive work the rest of the match, limiting Evergreen to only three shots all match.
The Hustlin' Owls dominated the tempo, firing 22 shots at the Geoducks, with 13 of those being on frame.
