Lady Owls Sweep Multnomah on Senior Night

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech (22-5, 18-4 CCC) honored its two seniors (Pictured #6 Lindsey Sampson, and #13 Faith Houck-Wylie both in the middle with family members) by sweeping away Multnomah University 3-0 (25-13. 25-12, 25-12) Saturday night at Danny Miles Court.
 
The Lady Owls have clinched third place in the CCC standings and will host Lewis-Clark State in the conference quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

It was a quick match for Tech as they displayed efficiency all around the board.
 
Tech had an attacking percentage of .500 which was good enough for a season-high.
 
Tech also led in these categories:
 
Kills: 42 to 19
Aces: 8 to 2
Blocks: 4 to 2
Assists: 36 to 17
Digs: 31 to 18
 
Kaylin Talonen (12) and Nicole Reyes (10) also both reached double figures in kills.
 
Head coach Ken Murczek had this to say after the match: "Incredible job tonight by the team. They served it tough and hit .500. Great to see our offense firing on all cylinders. I am very proud of the commitment our team had this conference season finishing 3rd, 18-4, and nationally ranked. Look forward to hosting lc state on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m."
