No. 25 Oregon Tech Set to Continue Record-Setting Season in NAIA Championship

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – After an NAIA Opening Round win for the first time in school history, and a school-best 24-6 record, No. 25 Oregon Tech is set to continue their record-setting 2021 season on Tuesday with two matches at the Tyson Events Center in the NAIA Volleyball Championship in Sioux City, Iowa. "We are incredibly excited for the opportunity to compete twice tomorrow against ranked opponents," said head coach Ken Murczek. "It's a fantastic venue and we had a productive practice today in preparation for the matches tomorrow. I look forward to seeing our team back on the court with hopes of extending our season and qualifying for the quarterfinal match on Thursday."

Tech will play No. 2 Viterbo (Wis.) at 6:30 a.m. to start pool play then will match up against No.19 Concordia (Neb.) at 1:00 p.m. both will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
 
The Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa, will serve as the venue for the 14th-straight women's volleyball national championship. The tournament will be played from November 30 – December 4. At the conclusion of pool play, the top team out of each pool will advance to the single-elimination bracket starting on December 2.
 
About our opponents 
Concordia (17-11) earned an automatic berth to the national tournament via its runner-up finish in the GPAC tournament. While hosting an opening-round match on Saturday, the Bulldogs defeated Ave Maria University (Fla.), 25-12, 25-23, 25-19.
 
Viterbo, 38-1 on the season swept past Indiana South Bend in the opening round 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-16) The V-Hawks suffered their only loss this season back on Aug. 28 in a four-set decision at the hands of Midland.

Volleyball will play at 1:00 pm in Mt. Mazama room in CU with the OIT women's soccer game starting at 2:00 pm available in Mt. Bailey room. Join us as we Root the Owls on to victory!!!!
