CARMEL, Calif.- Oregon Tech Women's Golf wrapped up the PCH Invitational by claiming 2nd place on Tuesday Afternoon. Tech shot a 318 on Day 2, 7 strokes better than Day 1 to finish 75 strokes over par.

"Menlo is a quality team and they deserved to win today," said head coach
Dave Myers. "It was great to see Maiya bounce back after a tough day yesterday. Conditions didn't suit Ashley very well in day 1. She battled through and posted a good score today. Payton had a couple of bad breaks today, but she knows she is close.  I expect she will have a terrific spring season. We are all looking forward to March and our next match."

Menlo College claimed first place after shooting a 62over par to win the invite by 13 strokes.

The individual title went to Catherine Batang, as the Menlo golfer shot a +6 over the two day stretch.

Tech's highest finisher was a tie between
Ashley Zhu and
Payton Canon. Both golfers finished 13 over par, 7 strokes behind first place.

Maiya Baker also finished in the top 10, shooting a 17 over par which was good enough for 6th place, shooting a 74 on Day 2.

The rest of Tech's team would finish as such:

14.
Kirsten Reed (+32)
22.
Madison Darnold (+41)

Tech will return to action in the spring when they play in Medford on March 6 and 7
