KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The #13 Oregon Tech (1-2) Men's Basketball team caught fire early on and rode 60% shooting to a 116-68 victory over Embry Riddle (2-3) Friday night in game 2 of the Lithia Classic at Danny Miles Court. The Owls were led by
Scotty Burge (#21 Pictured) and
Erik Fraser who each had career highs with 18 and 21 points respectively.
"We moved the ball really nicely against their zone and shot the ball with a lot of confidence," said head coach
Justin Parnell. "We also did some good things defensively but are still making some mental mistakes that are hurting us. We look forward to battling tomorrow with a very good Jessup team."

The Hustlin Owls had six players in double figures:
Erik Fraser: 21 points 7/10 shooting (career-high), 4-of-7 from 3-pt
Scotty Burge 18 points (career-high), 6-of-7 shooting from 3-pt
Harrison Steiger: 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting
Jamison Guerra: 12 points on 3-of-8 shooting
Joey Potts and
Keegan Shivers: 11 points
Overall, Tech shot lights out from 3, shooting 17-of-33 on the night while playing resolute defense.
Tech was able to limit Embry Riddle to 38% shooting en route to their first win of the year.
Tech will be back in action tomorrow when they host William Jessup University at 7:30 pm at Danny Miles Court. The Warriors kicked -off the Lithia Classic by downing Southern Oregon 77-75 in the first game on Friday. Embry-Riddle will play the Raiders in game 3 of the Classic at 5:30 pm on Saturday.
