French 1st, Men 3rd Setting New School Records at Warrior 8K Invite

ROCKLIN, Calif. –
Mark French finished first in a new school record time of 24:07.6 to lead the Oregon Tech men to a third overall finish Saturday at the Warrior Invite.
"The men had a great day with seven personal bests, and a new school record," said head coach
Jack Kegg. "So proud of them running the fastest team time in school history. The men started controlled and ran the last two miles very strong. I think Mark sprinted the last mile to win."
The men's team time of 2:05.08 broke the old record set last year at the CCC Championships of 2:06:42. French's time breaks Paul Adams' record time of 24:19 back in 2013 at Willamette.
