KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech was firing on all cylinders in a 114-85 victory over the semi-pro Seattle Mountaineers on Saturday night. The game will go down as an exhibition though, one of two tune-up games Tech has before their official opener on November 5th.
Â
"It was great to be back on the court and in front of our fans for the first time in 606 days," said head coach
Justin Parnell. "We played really efficiently and aggressive offensively and gave up good shots for great ones. We can get better defensively, and I have no doubt we will get where we want to be."

Â
Tech got off to the hot start, shooting nearly 72% from the floor in the first half. The hot start included the Hustlin' Owls shooting 7-10 from three, which allowed them to grab a lead they'd never lose.
Â
At the break, Tech was nearly averaging three points a minute and amassed a 58-40 lead.
Â
The Owls would ride the momentum in the second half, putting up similar numbers and cruising to the victory.
Â
The wealth surely was shared as Tech suited up 14 players, and 12 saw more than 10 minutes of playing time.
Â
OIT was led by freshman
Erik Fraser who scored 18 points in 14 minutes on 7-9 shooting. Overall, the Owls had four players in double-digits in scoring with
Kam Osborn (Pictured) adding 14 and
Jamison Guerra and
Lachlan McKimm dropping 12 points each off the bench.
Â
The Owls will play one more tune-up game on Friday when they head to Monmouth to face D2 side Western Oregon University in a closed-door scrimmage.
