KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time in school history, both Oregon Tech soccer teams are ranked in the Top 25 with the release today of the new NAIA Coaches' Polls by the national office.
 
"It's a pleasure to be able to lead both these programs into the top 25 rankings," said head coach Casey Tate. "As I have said before, this is a special group of hardworking, dedicated student-athletes, and staff, full of heart and grit.  I am so proud of each, and every person involved and look forward to finishing the season strong."
 
In the men's poll, Oregon Tech broke into the rankings at No. 24, while Corban University continues to receive votes. The Hustlin' Owls boast a 12-1 overall and 8-1 CCC record to sit in first place in the CCC standings, while the Warriors are a game behind with a 9-4, 8-2 mark, the two teams are scheduled to meet in Klamath Falls this Friday at 12:00 p.m at the OIT Soccer Field. 
 
In the women's poll, four teams represent the Cascade Collegiate Conference Oregon Tech led the group, picking up a No. 23 ranking after last week receiving votes. The Owls sit in first place in the CCC standings, a game in front of Corban University and the College of Idaho, which is receiving votes with Southern Oregon University and Eastern Oregon University. Corban will travel to Oregon Tech this Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the OIT soccer Field.
