Maiya Baker took home medalist honors with a three-round total of 228 to lead the OIT women. Tech's Ashley Zhu was second, just two shots back of Baker with the Owls' Payton Canon finishing third.

Baker after the round said, "I put three solid rounds together this tournament. My mental game has really improved substantially to push me to this point. What really saved me today was the up and downs around the green. Just thankful to get my first collegiate win!" MGOLF 2021-22

The Owl men were led by Michael Gray who was 4th with a total of 232, 11-shots behind the winner. Tech's Hunter Eberhardt (233) was 5th, followed closely by Mayson Tibbs and Zach Malina who tied for 6th with a 234. Preston Luckman finished up the Owls scoring with a No. 9 finish at 237.

"The course played really tough this week," said Tibbs. "We found a way to grind through some tough conditions and played well enough to come out on top. We are excited to get back to practice and improve on where we lost some shots this week."
