Lady Owls Win Bushnell Invite

COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – For the second time this season the Oregon Tech women's cross country team controlled the competition at the Middlefield Golf Course on the way to winning the Bushnell Cross Country Invite Friday afternoon; it was the Owl's second win of the season at the course.
Faith Widman led the Owls as she won the race in a time of 18:23, followed by Tech's
Delani Dietrich who was second (18:48), with
Hannah Mason finishing fourth (18:56),
Kela Leamy was 10
th (19:46), and
McKenzie Morgan 17
th (20:45).
"The ladies ran a very good team race. We raced some good teams and stayed focused on our patterns and our team race goals," said head coach
Jack Kegg. "
Faith Widman had a break out race and ran with a lot of confidence. Delani and Hannah closed very well late in the race."
