Tech’s Mitchell Fink Named CCC Player of the Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – For the second time in three weeks Oregon Tech's
Mitchell Fink has been named the Cascade Conference Red Lion Men's Basketball Player of the Week the Conference office announced today.
The six-foot-one senior guard from Clackamas, Ore., led the No.12 Owls to a 3-0 week. He scored 28 points on No.8 Southern Oregon last Tuesday, he followed that up with a triple-double (14PTS, 10AST, 10REB) at halftime vs Walla Walla on Saturday. Fink is 40 points away from becoming Oregon Tech's all-time career point's leader, just behind three-time All American Level Hesia's total of 2,109. Fink finished the week averaging 20.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 9.0 assists per week, with seven steals and a 42.2 field goal percentage.
The Hustlin' Owls will play their final two regular season games next weekend, taking on Warner Pacific University on Friday night during the Black Out for Hunger and Multnomah University Saturday for Senior Night, with both games taking place at 7:30 pm at Danny Miles Court.
