KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – No. 5 ranked Oregon Tech (15-3, 5-3 CCC) broke 100 points to take down Northwest Christian University (9-9, 4-4 CCC) on Friday night at Danny Miles Court with a 21-point advantage, 112-91.

The Beacons opened up the game with a 10-3 run, taking the lead early on and earning a nine-point advantage over the Owls. However, a 23-7 run from the nationally ranked Tech proved to be the last lead change of the game.
Three long range baskets from Oregon Tech opened up the second half as they powered up 9-2. Northwest got close to taking back the lead later in the half as they went 13-for-5, coming within 12 points of tying the game, but the Owls rebuilt their lead with an 18-5 run of their own.
A final 11-4 run came from the Beacons as Stevie Schlabach, Riley Anderson, and Kaden Sand dropped a three-pointer, but the final buzzer rang out before the team was able to catch up.
Senior
Seth Erickson dominated the scoring, earning a game-high 27 points and seven rebounds, scoring 4-of-7 from long range. Fellow senior
Mitchell Fink followed up with 23 points and seven assists, and junior
Harrison Steiger tallied 18 points along with three steals and two blocks.
Ernest Ugoagu led the Beacons with 24 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Other high scorers included Kaden Sand – who scored 3-of-5 from long range – and Schlabach, who added 15 each.
The Hustlin' Owls led 36-27 rebounding and held an 18-12 assisting advantage. The team also forced 17 turnovers and earned a 36-11 advantage off turnovers.
Northwest led 37-27 from the bench.
The Owls will be back in action tomorrow night, when they take on Corban University at 7:30pm at Danny Miles Court. The team will then travel to La Grande, Oregon to challenge Eastern Oregon University at 7:30pm on January 24
th and Caldwell, Idaho to take on the College of Idaho on the 25
th at 7:30pm
