CALDWELL, Idaho – College of Idaho got a walk-off RBI single in the tenth inning of a 3-2 win in Game 1, while Richard Walker tossed seven shutout innings in Game 2, as the College of Idaho swept the NAIA-West doubleheader from Oregon Tech at Wolfe Field.

The Owls took an early lead with two-runs in the 4
th inning on a
Tristan Shea 2-RBI double. Unfortunately for the Owls, that would be all the offense they could muster.
College of Idaho scored two-runs in the bottom of the 7
th to tie the game at 2-2 then got the walk off game winning RBI from Matthew Clay in the bottom of the 10
th.
John Schulz was the tough luck loser going falling to 1-1 on the year.
Josh Kallstrom had two-hits in the loss to lead the Owls.
Game 2, College of Idaho 9 Oregon Tech 1
A
Micah Jio RBI double in the ninth was the only run the Owls could manage as Richard Walker pitched the Yotes to the 9-1 win.
Tech totaled 8-hits but left 11 men on base in the loss, Jio led Tech with three-hits in the game.
The two teams are scheduled for a Monday doubleheader in Caldwell starting at 11:00 am (Pacific)
