ATHERTON Calif. - The Oregon Tech Lady Owls split a non-conference doubleheader with Menlo College on Sunday afternoon. Losing game one 4-3 and winning game two 11-7. The Owls move to 8-6 on the season with Oaks slip to 2-6.
Â
Coach
Greg Stewart on the games, "It was nice to finish off a long 6 game weekend hitting the ball well again today. In the first game, we hit several balls hard right at people but just could not take advantage of a few early inning opportunities. In game two, we really did a great job of hitting line drives with runners in scoring position. Ali and Sarah pitched well today. Menlo swings it well and other than giving up two big innings, I was encouraged with our performance today in the circle."
