SALEM, Ore. – Senior
Kylie Cowell scored in the 36
th minute to send Oregon Tech to a 1-0 victory over Corban University on Saturday afternoon at the CFC Soccer Complex. With the victory, the Lady Owls (9-2-3, 6-0-2 CCC) remain undefeated in Cascade Conference play.
Corban (8-6-1, 5-4-1 CCC) opened up the game strong, launching four shots off in the first 20 minutes and holding Tech to only one. However, Cowell – assisted by senior

"This was a gritty road for the team," said Head Coach
Brandon Porter. "Beating a team like Corban at their place is always something to appreciate and the ladies performed well this weekend. Now we can return home and focus on defending our home field."
The Owls stayed strong in the second period, outshooting the Warriors 7-4 and maintaining their lead.
Cowell shot 2-of-2 on target in the game, while freshman
Maddie Miller and sophomore
Kyra Mull each added three shots, with Mull shooting 2-of-3 on target.
Corban was led by Rylee MacDonald, who shot 4-of-4 on target, though all four stopped short. Annouscka Kordom contributed another five shots to the team.
Tech goalie
Jenna Stiehr made five saves to complete her 10
th shutout of the season, while Corban goalie Elizabeth Brock made seven saves of her own.
The two teams ended the night with 14 shots each, though OIT had an 8-5 advantage in shots on goal.
