PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon Tech had one of its best hitting percentages of the season with a .339 average on the way to a 3-0 sweep of Multnomah University Friday Night in Portland.
The Owls swept the Lions (25-14, 25-17, 25-14).
"It was nice to see us play clean volleyball tonight," said Oregon Tech Head Coach
Andrew Clifton. "I am impressed with the way our team pulled together earlier this week and decided to turn things around for this trip. We are looking forward to our match tomorrow."
The Owls (12-10, 5-7 CCC) were led by
Nicole Reyes (#9 Pictured) and
Ashley Ripplinger with six kills each with
Aubrey Kievit providing 11 digs.
Courtney Isom and
Jaime Toedtemeier held down the middle with 12 set assists each.
Oregon Tech next travels across town to Warner Pacific to take on the Knights Saturday in the Rose City.
