KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Oregon Tech Volleyball Team improved to 2-2 in Cascade Conference play and 7-4 overall with a straight set win 3-0, (25-13, 25-11, 25-15) over Walla Walla University (0-4, 0-3 CCC) Friday night at Danny Miles Court.
"We looked very steady tonight and executed a number of things we worked on in practice," said Head Coach
Andrew Clifton. "We are looking forward to our alumni game on Sunday and SOU on Tuesday."
The Hooter jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first set, carried that lead to 7-2, 14-7, 21-13, before finishing with the 25-13 set win.
In the second set, WWU took a 2-0 lead but Tech stormed back to go up 8-6, extended that lead to 12-7, and 19-9, and finished strong to win the set 25-11.
OIT took a 4-0 lead to start the third set, increased that lead to 9-2, 16-7, and 20-11 before winning the final set 25-15 and the Match 3-0.
The Owls had a kill percentage of .250 for the match while holding the Wolves to a-.022 percentage.

UP Next the Lady Owls will host their annual Alumni game Sunday, then host No. 10 Southern Oregon University (11-0, 4-0 CCC) on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. The Owls will continue at home again next weekend, Sept. 14-15, to face Warner Pacific and Multnomah University.
