SALEM, Ore. –The Oregon Tech women's cross country team finished 1-3-4-12-13 to win while the OIT men finished 5th at the 44th Annual Charles Bowles Invitational at Bush's Pasture Park at Willamette University.

"This was a good step forward today," said Head Coach Jack Kegg. "There are a lot of good programs that have never won the Willamette invite.
The women were very impressive today and the men had a great team effort."
 
The Owl women finished in first place team with a score of 33. Tech was followed by Northwest Christian (69) and Eastern Oregon fourth (108) Tech was led by Susie Garza (17:51) followed by Cindy Reed (18:02), Danielle De Castro (18:03) Faith Widman (19:01), Annika Andersen (19:03), Andie Kolasinski (19:10), Mallory Ward (19:28), and Hannah Mason (19:50)
 
On the men's side, Paul Wyatt (25:59) was the highest finisher for OIT in the 8K race as the Owls finished 17-19-22-27-43. Wyatt was followed by Ricky Garcia (26:01), Nick McMillen (26:05), Chris Ramirez (26:15), and Victor Rios (27:21).
