Men and Women Soccer Scrimmages Today Canceled

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- Due to continued unhealthy air quality in the Klamath Basin, toady's soccer scrimmages between Oregon Tech and Rogue CC have been canceled.
"It's unfortunate that we couldn't get this scrimmage in because I think Coach Veth at RCC has done a great job at continuing to build a strong program in the Rogue Valley," said Oregon Tech Women's Head Coach
Brandon Porter. "However, the health and wellbeing of our athletes and opponents are our first priority. The smoke is an uncontrollable variable and we will focus on the things we can control as we head into our first countable match against SOU next week.
The Lady Owls are scheduled to host Southern Oregon in a non-conference match next Thursday at 11:00 am at the Oregon Tech soccer field.
Up next for the Oregon Tech men will be an exhibition match at Humboldt State also next Thursday at 5:30 pm in Arcata, California.
