EUGENE, Ore. – No. 12 Oregon Tech (3-0) had seven players score in double-figures on the way to a 113-71 win at New Hope Christian Thursday afternoon at Cordeiro Court.
"We were as good offensively in the first half as we've been in 3 years," said Head Coach Justin Parnell. "Defensively we must continue to get better."
Mitchell Fink and Garret Albrecht each had a double-double to lead the Owls as Fink had a game high 16 points and 15 assists with Albrecht adding 10 points and 12 rebounds in the win.
Seth Erickson added 16 points for Tech with Tyler Hieb chipping in 13, and Kaison Faust and Lachlan Mckimm putting in 12 points each off the bench with Mckimm adding 9 rebounds.
Tech started with the lead and kept it for the entire game through a team effort. The Owls gained 48 points from their bench and had a game-leading 33 assists.
The Owls and Deacons will play again on Friday at 7:00 pm in Eugene.
