Golden Goal Lifts Jacks Past Owls

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Alex Jenkins scored the game winning goal 8-minutes into the first overtime to lift Humboldt State (3-0) to a 1-0 overtime win over Oregon Tech (1-2) Friday afternoon at the Oregon Tech Soccer Field.
The two teams had played a pretty even match with each team just missing on multiple scoring opportunities in regulation.
On the Golden Goal, Jenkins received a perfect pass from Rose Harman and finished in the lower left of the Oregon Tech goal just out of the reach of Keeper
Megan Green.
For the Match Humboldt had a 9-5 edge in shots and a 4-2 advantage in shots on goal.
Oregon Tech will head to Portland on Saturday for a game at Lewis & Clark College at 09:30 am.
