Eagles Fly Past Owls in Straight Sets

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Northwest University swept past Oregon Tech 3-0, (25-16, 25-22, 25-11) in Cascade Conference action Saturday evening at Danny Miles Court. The Eagles improve to 10-5 on the year and 4-3 in CCC play with Oregon Tech falling to 2-4 in conference and 4-6 overall.
 
Keann White had 7 kills with Hannah Lord and Sarah Warner adding 6 kills each in the win for Northwest.
 
For the game Northwest was very efficient on offense with a .250 kill percentage including a .667 kill percentage in the final set going 12 for 18.
 
Chase Bohman and Camryn Johnson led the OIT attack with 9 and kills respectively.
 
Mattie Jo Johnson led the Eagles defensive effort with a game high 7 blocks, with Lord adding 6-blocks in the sweep.
 
The Lady Owls will head to Salem, Oregon next weekend with a match-up against No. 16 Corban University on Friday night, September 29.
