Hustlin’ Owls Host Lions and Wolves in CCC Home Openers

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. –The Oregon Tech men's soccer team will play its Cascade Conference home openers this weekend, Friday they host Walla Walla University at 2:00 pm and Multnomah University Saturday at 4:00 pm at the OIT Soccer Field.
 
The Hooter are coming off a tough road trip in the opening weekend of conference play as they lost to College of Idaho 1-0 and 3-1 at Rocky Mountain College. The Owls are now 1-4 overall, 0-2 in CCC play. Joey Driessen led the Owls' offense so far this season, leading the team with 5 points, including 2-goals and 1 assist.
 
Walla Walla enters Friday's match-up with a 0-3 in CCC play and 0-4 on the year. So far the Wolves have been outshot 140-44 and outscored 28-2 through four games. Still on the hunt for their first-ever CCC win, they've dropped home games to Carroll (9-0), Providence (8-0) and Eastern Oregon (3-0).
 
Multnomah will play at SOU on Friday before coming over the hill to play the Owls Saturday at 4:00 pm. The Lions enter the weekend at 1-9 overall and join OIT at 0-2 in CCC Play as they lost their CCC openers at home, 7-0 to Providence (Mont.) and 2-1 to Carroll (Mont.).
