KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- College of Idaho stayed perfect on the year improving to 9-0 and 1-0 in Cascade Conference play with a hard fought 3-2 (25-11, 21-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-11) win over upset minded Oregon Tech (2-3, 0-1 CCC) in the Cascade Conference opener for both teams Friday night at Danny Miles Court.
 
College of Idaho started the first set on a 9-0 run on the way to a 25-11 first set win. Oregon Tech then took the second set 25-21. C of I dominated the third set 25-15 before Tech rallied to take the fourth set 25-22 and force the five set thriller.
 
In the final and decisive set, College of Idaho took a 13-8 lead and held on to win 15-11.
 
Brenna Meehan had 17 kills on 34 attempts for a kill percentage of .382. The Yotes as a team had a .355 kill percentage on the night. Ashley Pagan added 16 kills,
 
Marija Djonovic had a game high 52 assists to lead College of Idaho in the win.
 
Tech was led by Bailey Nelson, Faryn Case, and Kristin DePaoli (Pictured) with 10 kills each in the loss.
 
Jaime Toedtemeier had 21 assists with Waverly Green adding 20 assists on the night.
 
Oregon Tech will play host to No. 11 Eastern Oregon University Saturday night at 5:00 pm at Danny Miles Court with College of Idaho taking its undefeated record into Ashland on Saturday against Southern Oregon University. EOU beat SOU Friday 3-0.
