KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – After a highly successful inaugural 24-win season, second year Head Men's Basketball Coach
Justin Parnell has announced his 2017 recruiting class for Oregon Tech.
"We are really pleased with how this year's class of recruits turned out," said Parnell. "They are a great group of young men who are talented and flat get it done in the classroom. Between the 5 of them, they combined for 5 State Championships and 12 League Championships. We have no doubt that winning mentality and expectation will make an immediate impact on our program. Oregon Tech Basketball certainly got better today."

"Joey is a very underrated Forward. At 6'9, he's a great leaper who can really finish well at the rim. He has the dynamic ability to play inside as well stretch out to the perimeter where he can cover some serious ground. He's also one of the most coachable players that our staff has ever been around. Joey has a bright future at Oregon Tech."

"Harrison is one of the best high school defenders our staff has ever seen. He's a flat out competitor and puts the entire team before himself. We also know he's been exceptionally taught by Wilsonville's Chris Roche and he will be ready to go immediately. Harrison has the innate ability to be very aggressive without ever taking a poor shot."

"Cal's length, athleticism and ability to attack the rim make him a very tough match up at the NAIA level. He reminds us a lot of former Oregon Tech Star Myles Daley. No matter the sport or level, Cal expects to win and that attitude has been contagious on any team he's played for. Cal is a great talent, but an even better person and student. He' the perfect fit at Oregon Tech."

"Will is a tremendous addition to our Oregon Tech family. First and foremost, Will is a high character individual who excels in the classroom. Pair that with his height and length, his outstanding footwork/pivoting, and his ability to shoot to the ball, he has the potential to be a dynamic threat at this level."
