AT OREGON TECH: Third season as head coach of the volleyball program...has a 36-14 overall record, leading the team to the 2021 NAIA National Tournament and finishing at No. 21 in the final NAIA Top-25 coaches' poll...has coached one All-American (Nicole Reyes), five All-Cascade Conference selections, 10 Academic All-CCC and 10 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
PREVIOUS COACHING EXPERIENCE: Spent three seasons (2018-20) as a women's assistant coach at his alma mater, San Diego State...was the men's head coach at the University of Charleston in 2017 and served as the head coach at Wake Forest from 2013-16...at WFU, coaching 19 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team selections...was head coach at North Texas from 2010-12, reaching the Sun Belt Conference Tournament final in 2012...served as an assistant coach at the University of Kansas from 2008-10...has an all-time head coaching record of 155-125 over nine seasons - seven at the Division I level.
PERSONAL: Received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State in 1998, a Master's in teaching and teacher eduction from Arizona in 2000, a Master's in Sports Management from Western Michigan in 2007 and a Doctorate in Kinesiology from UNC-Greensboro in 2019...played collegiate volleyball at San Diego State and continues to play beach volleyball .
